Tags

Use this function to tag the CI's (Parent CI’s) during the scan when an instance(s) of these applications/softwares are found in the CI. This helps to easily search a CI/ Discovered asset in the CMDB.

1.

In the navigation pane, select Configuration Management > Tags. The Tags window displays.

2.

Click New Tag.

3.

In the Add Tag window, enter a Name for the tag and select a Color from the color picker.

4.

Click Add.

Edit Tags

To edit an existing item:

1.

Click the line item to open the applicable window or dialog box.

2.

Make the necessary modifications.

3.

Click Save.

Delete Tag

Deleting is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Deleting may affect other functionality in the application such as data in configured reports, fields in windows, etc. Therefore, be sure to understand the potential effects before making a deletion.

1.

Click the line that contains the item to delete.

2.

Click Delete. If a confirmation message is displayed, take the appropriate action (for example, click OK or Continue).
